The mortgage Loan Processor Assistant (LPA) partners with Loan Processors (LPs) to facilitate a smooth transaction experience for our brokers and borrowers.
The LPA role is an entry level position offering an exciting opportunity to initiate a career in the mortgage industry. Attention to detail, passion for process, and obsession about excellent customer service are critical. The LPA is responsible for prioritizing and executing tasks but is supported by an experienced loan processing mentor and advanced technology solutions. The Loan Processor Assistant is exposed to very sensitive personal information of our borrowers, so high levels of integrity and discretion are expected and non-negotiable.
Essential Duties:
- Support Loan Processors with tasks related to ordering and receiving services such as title, appraisals, homeowner's insurance and verifications of employment.
- Manage the statuses and follow-up communications with 3rd party mortgage services providers such as appraisers and title companies.
- Collection and stacking of documentation for post-closing compliance quality control.
- Execute a Closing Checklist to confirm that all regulated and reportable information is captured in a loan file before closing the file in our system.
- Communicates well, both verbally and written
- Provide prompt, warm, and memorable service
- Understanding and knowledge of TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TRID) is a plus.
License/Certification:
-Any necessary mortgage licensure will be managed by the company
Experience:
- Required: Minimum 1-year experience in a customer-facing service role
Hire Range/Rate:
$37,500 - $43,500
Actual compensation offered to candidate will be finalized at offer and may be above or below the posted range due to skill level, experience, industry specific knowledge, education/certifications, or geographic location.The offer rate represents one component of the RE/MAX Holdings total compensation package.Employees will also receive a number of benefits as listed below.
