Job Title: Quality Inspector $24-$30 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector responsible for inspecting machined parts using calipers, micrometers, and a CMM (Mitutoyo) according to blueprint specifications. The role involves testing assembled products, creating inspection check sheets, and generating rework orders. Over time, this position offers the opportunity to move into a leadership role and train other employees.
Responsibilities - Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, and a CMM (Mitutoyo) per blueprint specifications.
- Test assembled products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Create inspection check sheets and generate rework orders.
- Adhere to ISO 9001 standards in quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with a team of quality inspectors and the quality manager.
Essential Skills - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a quality inspector/quality assurance in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, and operating a CMM.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge or experience with ISO 9001 standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications - 2-year technical degree (e.g., machine tool) is preferred.
- Set-up and/or programming experience with a CMM.
- Previous leadership experience is a plus.
