Position Summary:Necco has an exciting opportunity for an Intake Specialist. This role will provide crucial support to the team and serve as a liaison to the finance department. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the flow of referrals, ensuring data accuracy, and facilitating communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:Data Entry & Systems•Accurately and promptly enter relevant information into applicable databases•Review reports for accuracy and address any discrepancies•Provide feedback to office staff on referral processes and any identified barriers•Track and manage all incoming referrals in a timely and organized mannerReferral Management•Obtain and document all necessary referral information and enter it into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system•Contact referral sources to verify and confirm provided information•Ensure all intake information and consents are obtained and accurately completed•Communicate the completion of referrals and all accompanying information to Administrative and Eligibility SpecialistsFiscal and Medicaid Service Management•Act as a liaison to the finance team regarding billing-related matters•Verify insurance details for all Behavioral Health referrals and enter the information into the EHR•Facilitate communication between Administrative Specialists, Program Directors, and other relevant partiesTeam Responsibilities•Provide exceptional customer service to all stakeholders•Coordinate the flow of external communications (phone, fax, mail, and email)•Attend and actively participate in Necco meetings, conference calls, and other activities•Communicate professionally and courteously with referrals, clients, and team members•Maintain the confidentiality of client records and office activities•Conduct ongoing internal quantitative audits of referral charts, as outlined in policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. Report audit results to the Supervisor as requested•Accept additional tasks as needed in a self-directed team environment•Understand and adhere to our Corporate Culture Principles and Strategy•Contribute to achieving our mission: "We Build Families"•Take ownership of and participate in the Individual Performance ScorecardCorporate Citizen•Practice ruthless pragmatism•Engage in peer-to-peer feedback•Know and live the Necco Corporate Culture Principles•Embody the three essential virtues: humble, hungry, and smart•Drive your individual performance scorecard results•Adhere to and contribute to the Necco meeting structurePosition Qualifications•Minimum of 21 years of age•High School diploma required (college degree preferred)•Valid Driver's License•Minimum of 3 years of experience in office administration, data entry, or billing (experience in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, or Georgia is preferred)•100/300/100 auto insurance coverage•Willingness to undergo training and travel as needed•Strong organizational and technological skills•Excellent written and oral communication abilities•Successful completion of all required criminal background checks•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, databases, Electronic Health Records (EHR), and dashboard systems•Ability to identify issues and proactively discuss them with appropriate teammates•Demonstrated ability to meet both scheduled and unplanned deadlines with accuracyAt Necco, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable work environment.
