Position: Guest Services Representative
Location: Hyatt Place Augusta
Employment Type: Part-time
Shift: Flexible, including weekends and holidays

Position Summary:
The Guest Services Representative is a dynamic role that extends beyond the front desk. While you will assist with check-in and check-out, this position also includes responsibilities that keep you moving and interacting with guests throughout the hotel. From straightening the lobby to ensuring public areas are welcoming, you will play a key part in the overall guest experience. If you enjoy a variety of tasks and being proactive, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out, ensuring a seamless and friendly experience.
  • Step out from behind the desk to interact with guests, offering assistance with their needs and providing local recommendations.
  • Take ownership of the lobby and public areas by maintaining their cleanliness and organization, ensuring they are always presentable and inviting.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns, whether at the desk or while circulating through the hotel.
  • Support food and beverage service in the Gallery Kitchen, helping maintain an inviting and well-organized environment.
  • Handle payment transactions, including cash, credit cards, and room charges, accurately and securely.
  • Stay informed of hotel policies, services, and promotions to assist guests with inquiries and provide recommendations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless, high-quality guest experience.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, or similar roles is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable being active and taking on tasks that extend beyond the front desk.
  • Basic computer skills; knowledge of hotel management systems like Opera PMS is a plus.
  • Flexible availability, including the ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • A positive attitude, a team-oriented mindset, and a desire to contribute to guest satisfaction.
