Basic Function:Conducts visual and dimensional inspection of materials and products for conformance to customer drawing specifications. Responsibilities:Read and interpret customer drawings and specificationsIn-process inspection - visual and dimensional inspection of in-process assemblies as specified in documentationFinal inspection - visual and dimensional inspection of finished assemblies as specified in documentationAbility to interact with production department when issues ariseEnter inspection results into Inspection LogsGenerate non-conformance/defect reports as requiredOther responsibilities as requiredSkills:Experience performing dimensional inspection using hand tools (primarily calipers and tape measures) is requiredExperience reading customer drawings is requiredGood written and verbal communication skillsBasic knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel is requiredExperience reading customer specifications is preferredExperience in regulated manufacturing environment (ISO9001, AS9100, etc) is preferredIPC-620 certification is preferredEducation/Training:HS Diploma or Equivalent is requiredExperience:Minimum two years of experience performing dimensional inspection using hand toolsAbout 603 ManufacturingLocated in Hudson, NH, 603 Manufacturing, a Trexon company, opened for business in 1998.
