This position works out of our Columbus, OH Plant location in the Abbott Nutrition division. WHAT YOULL DO AS A PROCESSING SANITATION COORDINATOR
This individual will be responsible for providing support and / or oversight in the Sanitation department in relation to day-to-day responsibilities, troubleshooting, root cause / corrective action investigations and process improvements.
- Adhere to all safety and GMP guidelines and assure adherence of third-party vendors.
- Perform activities as assigned by management.
- Provide feedback to the supervisor/manager regarding on-the-job performance issues of sanitation team.
- Support and assist in the completion of appropriate training.
- Submit, track and monitor execution of work orders, PMs, and repairs.
- The Sanitation department is responsible for maintaining a high level of housekeeping and sanitation for the plant common areas as designated by area ownership.
- Responsibilities also includes monitoring inventory of cleaning and gowning items for plant use.
- Coordinate daily and weekly activities with sanitation team to ensure efficient operations.
- Order supplies and resolve issues with materials or service.
- Coordinate with other departments at the site to ensure sanitation levels are maintained and there is no impact to operations.
- Prioritize daily tasks for the sanitation team.
- Assist and perform training as needed.
- Monitor work performance of all cleaning routes to assure proper cleanliness and GMP readiness are met.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and coordinate repair and maintenance.
- Meet with the vendors on a weekly basis to order supplies and discuss problems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sanitation or working in a highly regulated industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals.

The base pay for this position is $18.25 $36.45 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
