Quietflex is a leading manufacturer and supplier of flexible ductwork for residential and commercial HVAC systems, as well as fiberglass mats for industrial applications.As a vital component of indoor comfort, Quietflex has a robust product line that includes a wide variety of specialized products designed to provide the best solutions to the needs of its many customers.Why work with us?Benefits are effective on day one for all full-time direct hiresTraining programs are available to help guide team members and develop new skillsGrowth Opportunities - there is immense opportunities to grow your careerYou will be part of a Global Company - our family brands are backed by Daikin Industries, Ltd.Position Responsibilities may include: Conduct cycle counts using RF scanner and monitor inventory accuracyMaintain minimum inventory levels and monitor for accuracy regularly with cycle countsWork as a team with Warehouse Operations to locate and cycle count productMove product as required to facilitate cycle countsMove product to consolidate SKUs into fewer locations as directedCheck and update inventory databases with current dataUse Simple Problem Solving to determine root cause of inventory discrepancy within a location andWork closely with the Inventory Supervisor, Inventory Analysts and Operations personnelOperate Reach truck, Forklift and/or Order picker to move product as needed to perform inventory countsFollow safety policies and proceduresWear all required departmental PPEPerform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs Nature & Scope:Works within well-defined instructionsUses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasksWork is closely supervisedKnowledge & Skills:Working knowledge of computer applications - MS Office - Outlook, Word, Excel (spreadsheets)Ability to read and interpret Bill of Materials (BOM's), drawings, work instructions, and policiesGeneral understanding of Manufacturing, i.e. when and how PN's change as work is performedBasic math skillsAbility to safely operate forklifts, reach trucks and additional material handling equipmentAbility to handle multiple tasks independently with precise detail and follow-up reportingEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow all safety requirements and practice safe work habits and maintain good housekeepingAbility to establish positive work relationships, apply good judgement, a strong work ethic, and integrity on the jobAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to be successful working independently and responsibly Experience:1+ year experience in cycle counting and operation of material handling equipment2+ years of experience operating a forklift and/or reach truck (must be certified by internal trainer)Education/Certification:High School Diploma or GED equivalentSuccessful completion of in-house forklift & reach truck training - (certification)Physical Requirements / Work Environment:Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodationsMust be able to walk 5 to 10 miles a dayStanding, walking, bending, stooping, etc. to move, view and transfer productLift, carry move up to 40lbs Occasional overtime as requiredWork environment may occasionally contain forklift traffic, various PPE may be required Reports To:Supervisor/Manager Inventory Control Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
