Job Summary:
The Customer Service / Order Entry Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and ensuring accurate and timely order processing. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Interaction:
    • Answer customer inquiries via phone and email.
    • Provide information about products, services, pricing, and order status.
    • Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Order Processing:
    • Accurately enter customer orders into the system.
    • Verify order details and confirm orders with customers.
    • Coordinate with the warehouse and shipping departments to ensure timely delivery.
    • Prepare export documents as needed/required for all exports
  • Data Management:
    • Maintain and update customer records.
    • Ensure all order details are accurately recorded in the database.
  • Support:
    • Assist in the preparation of quotes and invoices.
    • Provide support for the sales team as needed.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow-up:
    • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any additional needs.
    • Monitor and follow up on backorders and delayed shipments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Previous experience in customer service and/or order entry roles.
    • Experience with CRM and export documents a plus
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
