A retail company in Illinois is looking to add a new Customer Service Specialist to join their growing team in the Greater Chicago area. In this role, the Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for supporting retail customers and end-users with order support, product assistance and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
The Customer Service Specialist will:
- Answer customer/consumer calls and e-mails
- Provide customer service and troubleshooting as needed
- Respond to consumer online reviews through the portal
- Arrange for shipment of replacement parts
- Track and trace delivery of orders
- Communicate with employees throughout the organization on customer requirements
- Initiate claim process with customers
- Organize and maintain claim files
- Notify the manufacturers of new claims and manage claims to closure
- Work within several customer portals such as Archway and CommerceHub
- Assist with general office and data entry projects, as necessary
Qualifications - 1+ year of experience in a Customer Service and/or General Office Administration role
- Associate's Degree
- Computer savvy
- Microsoft Office Suite proficient
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
