Housekeeper II Job Summary:
According to established procedures cleans and services building areas. Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies, in and around hospital departments, and performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
Housekeeper II Essential Responsibilities:

1. Project work on floors using automatic floor equipment.
2. Total patient room cleaning following established procedures.
3. Moves equipment and furniture for relocation of offices, for cleaning and rearrangement.
4. Trash removal and recycling. May collect hazardous/medical waste.
5. Clean entrances and parking lot of debris and trash.
6. Provides on-call coverage for weekends and holidays as scheduled.
7. Responds to emergency codes.

Housekeeper II Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Housekeeper II Experience Requirements:

• Prior experience performing cleaning operations in a hospital, industrial or office setting, with minimum three months training preferred.

Housekeeper II Environmental Conditions:
Work in an environment where there is limited physical discomfort due to noise, heat, dust, chemical fumes and the like. Works with chemicals that are potentially harmful if proper precautions are not used.
