Collaborate dynamically with engineering, operations, materials, quality, suppliers and marketing staff to implement significant improvements in product quality (defect reduction) to achieve high levels of customer service. Conceive, justify, and plan solutions for complex problems. Implement engineering design changes that improve product function, reduce costs, reduce defects, and / or improve manufacturing efficiency. Design, develop and comply with testing procedures. Create and revise product drawings and BOMs Background Profile: B.S. Degree in a Technical or Mechanical Engineering discipline Ability to work effectively in a team environment, both as a leader/facilitator and a participant Experience in low-cost, high-volume, low-defect manufacturing Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills Working knowledge of CAD/CAE engineering tools (SolidWorks preferred) Knowledge of FEA and CFD Excellent theoretical and applied knowledge of mechanical engineering principles About us: Impacting people.
