We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for a busy pediatric office that is part of a larger healthcare group. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling options, including one evening shift per week. Title: Part-Time Certified Medical Assistant
Location: Moorestown, NJ 08057
Pay Rate: $18-20/hr
Schedule:
- 20-25 hours per week
- Monday: 8 AM - 4 PM
- Tuesday: 9 AM - 5 PM
- Evening Shift: 12 PM - 8 PM (1 day per week)
- Flexible days and hours depending on office needs
Responsibilities: - Assist medical and nursing staff with routine patient care and office tasks.
- Greet patients, answer phones, and manage appointment scheduling.
- Take vital signs, record medical histories, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist physicians during exams, collect lab specimens, and perform basic lab tests.
- Ensure infection control and safety standards are followed.
- Administer medications, perform EKGs, and prepare patients for tests and procedures.
Qualifications: - High School Diploma / GED required.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification (required within 3 months if not already certified).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of safety protocols, infection control, and patient care procedures.
- CPR certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross preferred).
- Pediatrics experience highly preferred!
