Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Freight Handler.
As a Freight Handler, you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight, scanning and sorting freight within the facility. You will also transport freight within and between facilities.
Key Responsibilities: - Loading and unloading freight from trucks and containers
- Scanning and sorting freight within the facility
- Transporting freight within and between facilities
Requirements: - High School Diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations (an asset)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment
- Valid full driver's license and good driving record
Additional Requirements: - Must be able to operate in a PC Windows environment
- Ability to complete all mandatory training and achieve minimum thresholds
- Ability to work varying shifts based on business needs
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for candidates residing in Quebec
Driver Requirements: - Valid driver's license (Class 5, G, or 1(AZ))
- Driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the past 24 months
Pay and Benefits: Estimated salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
Part-time position, Monday to Friday, 6am start time. Located in Kenora, ON.
