The ideal candidate will be highly networked with key stakeholders in the marine industry and have a track record of successful sales within the Pacific Northwest or California. This role is a key contributor to our growth strategy and will primarily focus on the West Coast, though there is no geographic limit to opportunities the candidate may pursue. This position offers a competitive base salary and a performance-based variable component to incentivize sales growth. Compensation will be tailored based on experience, location, and candidate potential, with flexibility in title for senior candidates. Business Development Representative – Marine Sales Responsibilities Identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities for marine products, including propulsion systems, batteries, switchboards, and electrical engineering solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and partners in the West Coast marine industry. Drive growth in the Pacific Northwest and California, leveraging knowledge of state regulations and hybrid/electric vessel trends. Operate independently from a home office while traveling frequently to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events. Work closely with our team to shape and adapt sales strategies based on market conditions and customer feedback. Business Development Representative – Marine Sales Position Requirements Proven background in marine product sales (e.g., marine engines, propulsion systems, power conversion). Prior experience with OEMs or dealers such as Cat, Cummins, Schottel, or similar is a plus. Established relationships with West Coast marine customers and stakeholders. Familiarity with electrical engineering solutions, hybrid systems, and naval architecture is highly desirable. Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. Ability to travel frequently and adapt to changing schedules and demands. LI-Remote
