Human Resources Coordinator - Fort Lee, NJ CareServices 173, LLC The
Human Resources Coordinator's role is to provide support for a wide variety of activities in human resources including the onboarding of new employees, providing information to employees and supervisors regarding regulations, terms of employment and Company policies. The HR Coordinator is also responsible for the maintenance of Human Resource information system records and compiles reports from database as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Facilitates the on-boarding of new hires including: creating offer letters, collecting the required paperwork and conducting orientation.
- Maintains separation agreements and requests severance pay accordingly.
- Reviews daily Pass-Thru Error report and makes corrections in ADP EV5.
- Reviews various daily alerts emails and ensures the accuracy and consistency of the data contained in Oracle HR and ADP EV5.
- Monitors and maintains PTO balances in Oracle HR and the Replicon timekeeping system.
- Serves as a resource for Center based Payroll Coordinators.
- Enters rate increases and bonuses into Oracle HR and ADP EV5 as directed by department supervisors and ensures that proper approval has been obtained.
- Acts as a resource for department managers to ensure their understanding and compliance with HR policies and regulations and provides training as needed.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Escalates Center specific issues concerning terminations, leaves of absence, compliance issues and other HR matters to the Regional HR team.
- Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
- Assists with unemployment claims.
- Ensures the integrity of HR data by processing new hires, re-hires, terminations, transfers, status changes in timely fashion, securing personnel action forms and proper approvals.
- Responsible for entering and maintaining direct deposit data, tax data, title changes in a timely fashion.
- Administers leave of absence program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, collecting required paperwork, verifying eligibility, tracking time taken and maintaining contact with employees to monitor status.
- Ensures all applicable workplace law posters are up-to-date and posted in employee areas.
- Sorts mail and prepares correspondence for the SVP & Deputy General Counsel.
- Assists with other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Some travel may be required.
Position Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 3-5 years' experience in the Human Resources field
- Experience with Oracle HRIS
- Experience with ADP Enterprise HR V5 a plus
