- Position Summary
- Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in the Nursing Department.
- Days/Hours
- Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
- Start Date
- Position available on or after September 9, 2024 and ending on or before May 31, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist in portraying sick and afflicted patients for student nurse training.
- Memorize script, scenario, and patient details for simulated nurse training.
- Assist in supporting Simulation Director, Simulation Operations Specialist, and Nursing faculty.
Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous acting experience.
- Previous simulated patient acting experience.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a variety of faculty and students.
- Demonstrates the ability to take direction from Nursing faculty and staff.
Required Qualifications: - Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Salary Range
- $17.00 per hour.
