Title: Senior Trusts & Estates Attorney

Compensation: $150,000-175,000 DOE + variable

Our client, a boutique real estate and estate planning firm, is seeking an experienced Trusts and Estates Attorney with 6-10 years’ experience in the T&E and estate planning space working with high-net worth clients at another New York law firm. While a book of business is not necessarily a requirement, the right candidate will be relationship driven and bring in new clients and business to the firm on his/her own. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to grow into a Department Chair and/or Partner position down the line.

Qualifications:

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the State of New York.
• 6-10 years’ experience in a trusts & estates practice at another New York law firm(s).
• Portable book of business a plus, but not a requirement.
• Strong interest and willingness to proactively bring in new business for the firm.
• Savvy with technology, including legal research tools and social media.
• Excellent drafting skills.
• Personable; relationship driven.
