Job Description
The Trainer-Intermediate position plays a pivotal role in creating immersive and impactful learning experiences that drive organizational success. This position is centered on designing and delivering dynamic training solutions that engage learners and meet strategic goals. From developing interactive eLearning modules and visually compelling presentations to crafting concise quick-reference guides and micro-learning videos, the Training Analyst ensures each learning asset resonates with its audience.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Experience developing computer-based training using Articulate 360 (3 years)
• Experience as an Instructional Designer or e- learning Developer (3 years)
• Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders (3 years)
• Experience with a variety of learning/training concepts and principles, including knowledge of adult learning techniques (3 years)
• Experience with Microsoft 365 implementation projects including multiple Office 365 products and requirements (3 years)
• Proficiency of eLearning software (such as Articulate 360, Canva Pro, Murf.ai)
• The role requires exceptional organizational, problem-solving and time/project management skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Strong proficiency with all Microsoft 365 applications (such as Lists, Forms, SharePoint, PowerPoint and Excel) would be beneficial
• Experience in large-scale organizations or familiarity with government or procurement processes is an asset
• Experience developing computer-based training using Canva, or Murf.ai (1 year)
• Experience delivering training sessions via web-based interactive technology i.e. TEAMs (3 years)
• Experience developing and delivering training material for a Government Client or organization of similar size and complexity (2 years)
• Experience in a project management role (3 years)
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP (2 years)
• Experience working on learning management systems (3 years)
Trainer-Intermediate Job Duties:
• Utilizing proven adult learning methodologies, such as the ADDIE model, the Trainer-Intermediate position collaborates with subject matter experts to build innovative and practical training programs
• Moderate engaging virtual training sessions and continuously explore new techniques to elevate earner engagement and retention
• In addition to content creation, the Trainer-Intermediate position will manage training logistics such as enrollments and attendance via the internal Learning Management System and provides actionable insights through data visualization tools like PowerBI
