Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The CNA will provide exceptional patient care, support residents with daily activities, and ensure their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will work closely with nurses and physicians to assist with patient needs, monitor health conditions, and maintain a high standard of care.
Key Responsibilities: - Patient Care: Deliver exceptional care to patients, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
- Daily Assistance: Provide physical support with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Bedridden Patient Care: Assist bedridden patients by turning and repositioning them regularly to prevent bedsores.
- Dietary Support: Ensure patients receive the correct diet based on dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
- Communication: Gather and report information from physicians, nurses, and caregivers regarding patient conditions, treatment plans, and activities.
- Vital Signs & Monitoring: Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, as requested by nursing staff.
- Patient Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in patient behavior, symptoms, or conditions to nursing staff.
- Medication & Supplements: Remind patients to take prescribed medications and nutritional supplements as directed.
- Health Observation: Identify and report any medical concerns, including wounds, bruises, or signs of infection.
- Training & Compliance: Stay up to date with CNA training, ensuring adherence to facility policies and healthcare protocols.
Job Requirements: - Experience: Previous experience as a CNA is preferred, but not required.
- Education: Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
- Certification: Active CNA certification .
Skills: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
- Ability to provide both physical and emotional support to patients.
- Attention to detail in documenting and reporting patient information.
- Ability to follow healthcare procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
