Job Title: Lamination Machine OperatornnJob DescriptionnnThe Lamination Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the lamination press to produce the highest quality product. You will ensure the lamination press functions properly, adjust the machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production to ensure all machinery runs smoothly.nnResponsibilitiesnnClean machine and area before startup.nnReview job card to determine any special laminating instructions, specifications, and quantity.nnPrepare adhesive mixer and check the viscosity per order lot.nnChange out additional machine parts as specified by the job card.nnPick up web roll from the staging area.nnCut sample film before lamination.nnLoad and thread web rolls through the machine.nnInput parameters specific to the job card.nnPlace paper core in the rewinder.nnCut sample and take to quality lab for Gas Chromatography test.nnPerform quality checks: test laminated film sample for thickness, print pitch, and lamination strength, and conduct visual inspection.nnUnload rolls from the machine and stage for logistics after production is finished.nnMaintain PMs on press and other equipment as needed using hand tools.nnChange or replace all necessary parts before the next run.nnOnce a day, cut laminate sample and check volume for adhesive.nnComplete production lot report and shift report.nnCheck adhesive consumption and report at the end of the day.nnMaintain the 7S standard during your shift.nnPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.nnEssential SkillsnnExperience in machine operation, particularly in lamination presses.nnAbility to read and interpret blueprints.nnStrong mechanical skills.nnProficiency in using hand tools.nnAbility to troubleshoot and repair machinery.nnExperience in production environments.nnAdditional Skills & QualificationsnnKnowledge of quality control processes.nnExperience with Gas Chromatography testing.nnUnderstanding of the 7S standard.nnWhy Work Here?nnJoin a family-owned company that offers excellent benefits and a clean, organized facility.
