As an Emergency Vehicle Technician your primary responsibilities are installing, repairing, testing, and removing 12-volt law enforcement vehicle equipment, including, but not limited light bars, flashers, sirens, video cameras, laptops, printers, consoles, transport partitions, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, and more.
Operating:
Monday - Friday - Some weekends work may be applicable for large projects
Requirements:
- Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification is desired but not required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience is desired, but not required
- Knowledge of vehicle wiring
- Able to identify electrical circuits
- Experience w/ installation of emergency lighting desired, but not required
- Be Prompt an prepared to work
- display effective communication with others
- Work Safely and follow company safety standards
- Maintain a high level of personal cleanliness
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and are self-starters
- Maintain a clean work area
- Provide quality workmanship and attention to detail
- Work well in a team but also excel while working independently
- Able to communicate well with others
- Good hearing and color vision
