IMMEDIATE OPENINGS!WEEKEND SHIFTSDEMENTIA EXPERIENCE REQUIREDRight at Home serves clients 24/7, and we're currently looking for amazing caregivers who want to work to keep our clients safe and comfortable. This client has dementia, so any caregiver accepting the assignment must be willing to commit to attending their assigned shifts in order to avoid causing distress or confusion to the client. We want consistency for YOU and our client!We're looking for someone to work all or part of the following schedule:Saturday and Sunday 8am to 8pmHere's what you can expect working as a caregiver with this client:You will provide companionship for your client, including engaging in conversation and activities that demonstrate her interest. She is living with dementia, but can have meaningful conversations and is able to verbalize her desires, dislikes, etc.Your client is currently independent with ADLs but is living with dementia. You will provide stand-by or light assistance paying particular attention to fall prevention.She can cook and you can assist her while cooking and preparing her meals. She also eats well. Caregiver will be required to provide transportation to the supermarket and will assist client with paying for groceries.Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed. This may include but is not necessarily limited to, dusting, cleaning the living area, and bathroom, vacuuming and laundry, and emptying trash bins.Provide transportation for errands and appointments and social activities-she loves the library!She loves walking and exercising which includes sit-ups, push-ups, Zumba, and yoga.Medication reminders.At Right at Home, we are proud of our company culture and work hard to build an environment of teamwork and trust with all of our caregivers and clients.
