Who We are Looking for:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual with a strong commitment to safety and food quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a warehouse or production setting, preferably within the food industry, is preferred. The individual should have physical stamina to lift and move heavy items safely, and a positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in packaging products according to company standards, ensuring labels are accurate and packaging is secure.
- Perform regular inspections of products to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Help maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking incoming and outgoing products and reporting discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and efficiently, following all safety guidelines and training protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines, assisting with training new employees as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, participating in safety training as required.
- Assist in identifying and resolving production or logistical challenges, providing input for process improvements.
Necessary Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience working in a production environment.
- Proven reliability and team-oriented work ethic.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to read and understand work instructions in English.
- Basic counting, addition, and subtraction skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Spanish language skills are very desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand/walk for the duration of the shift.
- Lift/carry/maneuver up to 40 pounds.
