Our client in the skilled trades industry is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to join their team. As an HVAC Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance team supporting various locations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HVAC Mechanic - 3rd shift

Location: Ada, MI

Pay Range:  $35/hr+ based on experience

What's the Job?

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including inspecting, cleaning, and servicing components.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
• Repair or replace defective components, such as compressors, motors, fans, and electrical controls.
• Conduct system performance tests and adjustments to ensure optimal operation and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and work completed.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. 

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or HVAC certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years recent experience as an HVAC mechanic in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and maintenance procedures.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
