OverviewnnAs a Retail Print Supervisor at Office Depot, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving print sales and service growth within our store. Your enthusiasm and expertise in print services will help us create and nurture a vibrant sales culture, enhance our store's visual and merchandising standards for print products, and prioritize unparalleled client satisfaction. The Print Supervisor will be responsible for supporting, in partnership with the General Manager, all aspects of the print production process, managing print equipment and supplies, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality print materials. The Print Supervisor will support a customer-centric environment, engagement with the local community, all while contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values of Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity. As a Print Supervisor you will also be a "Key Carrier" and considered a leader on duty; responsible for opening and closing the store. The Print Supervisor must be able to work a flexible schedule that aligns with business needs, inclusive of the ability to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. The ideal Retail Print Supervisor should be passionate about print services, delivering exceptional customer service, driving operational excellence, and developing a high-performing team.nnThe essential functions of this position may require you to consent to periodic comprehensive background checks conducted by a third-party.nnPrimary Responsibilities:nnSales and Service Excellence:nnSupports the delivery of memorable customer experiences and client satisfaction in the Print Department and overall store.nnEnsure the execution of Office Depot, Inc. selling techniques and sales training in print and across the store.nnDrives a sales-focused environment through supporting the training and development of all associates, inclusive of print.nnAct as a role model for delivering exceptional customer service and product expertise.nnLeadership and Team Development:nnProvide guidance, direction, and ongoing training to all associates to ensure an understanding of print processes and selling techniques.nnAssist the leadership team in training sessions on the business model and the holistic service offering for clients/customers.nnObserve, coach, and provide feedback to enhance associate proficiency and build a culture of trust and brand loyalty.nnProvide feedback to the General Manager on associate performance.nnOther duties as deemed necessarynnOperational Efficiency:nnOperate all equipment within the Print Services area to maintain efficient production and ensure customers’ orders are completed correctly and on time.nnIdentify areas for process improvement and implement plans to reduce waste and inefficiencies including monitoring and managing all print supplies.nnContribute to increasing sales and profitability through conversion, Average Order Value (AOV), and customer satisfaction improvement initiatives.nnExternal Key Carrier Responsibilities:nnMaintain the safety and security of the print department, building, and associates during the absence of other managers.nnPerform opening and closing responsibilities, including activation and deactivation of the store's alarm system, cash handling, and daily store balancing.nnIn partnership with all associates, ensure regular loss prevention compliance.nnFull responsibilities associated with External Key Carrier designation.nnEducation and Experience:nnHigh School diploma or equivalent education preferrednnMinimum 1-3 years of experience in related fieldnnMinimum two to years management experience or demonstration of skills and learning through an internal development programnnExperience in Print Center OperationsnnStrong computer skills including Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)nnMust be the subject matter expert in the Print Services areannMust possess advanced selling skillsnnMust possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with customersnnMust be adaptable to a changing environmentnnMust be able to coach and train others in a professional environmentnnPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsnnMust possess the ability to use technology applicable to role, and to access information necessary to complete daily responsibilitiesnnMust possess ability to process information/merchandise through POS register systemnnPays close attention to detail to ensure high quality production in the Print Services areannMust possess good interpersonal and communication skills, which are necessary to establish a selling relationship with customers and other employeesnnPositive and EngagingnnAction OrientednnIntegrity, Accountability & TrustnnDemonstrate passion for the brand, products, services and solutions offered to our customersnnMust possess a desire to continually develop personal selling skills and product knowledgennAbout The ODP Corporation: The ODP Corporation (NASDAQ:ODP) is a leading provider of products and services through an integrated business-to-business (B2B) distribution platform and omnichannel presence, which includes world-class supply chain and distribution operations, dedicated sales professionals, a B2B digital procurement solution, online presence, and a network of Office Depot and OfficeMax retail stores.
