Emergency Room Registered Nurse We have been enlisted by one of our regional clients to recruit Emergency Department Nurses for their expanding team. We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at a hospital near Chico. In this role, you will deliver outstanding care to patients experiencing medical and traumatic emergencies, collaborate effectively with a team of healthcare professionals, and ensure that patients receive the highest standard of care.
Summary - Perform initial assessments, triage, and treatment of patients with medical and traumatic emergencies
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and provide patient education
- Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize critical thinking and decision-making skills to assess patient needs and adjust care plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment
Requirements - Current RN license in the state of California
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department or critical care setting
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- TNCC certification preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient care needs
