The Department of Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center has expanded and our clinical operations, now called Vanderbilt Medical Laboratories, has moved to a new 110,000 square foot pathology laboratory with state-of-the-art technology in Anatomic Pathology.

We are seeking board certified / eligible surgical pathologists with subspecialty fellowship training in any of the following expanding areas: Head and Neck Pathology, Gynecologic Pathology, Breast Pathology, Genitourinary Pathology, Gastrointestinal Pathology, Cardiovascular/Transplant Pathology. General Surgical Pathology subspecialty fellowship training is also desirable. Candidates need to be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Tennessee. Depending on qualifications and experience, candidates could be eligible for appointment as an Assistant or Associate Professor on the Clinician Educator track. Full time Clinical track positions are also available. Our department focuses on its patients and people, with a strong, diverse faculty, and a supportive atmosphere.
