Locums - Lakewood, Colorado, Neurosurgery Job (IMLC Accepted)Clinical Role:

    • Coverage Dates:
      • Dec 26 (7a) - Jan 2 (7a)
      • Feb 10 (7a) - 17 (7a)
      • Feb 24 (7a) - 27 (7a)
    • The site anticipates the need through Dec 2025, specific ongoing open dates will be disclosed when schedules are released for ongoing dates
    • Looking for a Neurosurgeon locum to help with backup/secondary call coverage. The site anticipates a need for locums for secondary call up to 27 days total per month to maintain level 1 Trauma status
    • 24-hour call (7 gratis hours) - 7a-7a
    • Dec 1st, 2024, start
    • Since this is secondary call, the team anticipates callback hours to be less than the primary call back
    • Setting: Call, Inpatient Trauma Level I
    • FTE: 4.0
    • Required Procedures/Job Duties: General Neurosurgery - spine and cranial - complex spine and cranial a plus
    • EMR: Epic
    • Support Staff: none
    • Reason for Coverage: Transitioning from contracted to employed Neurosurgery, recruiting for employed physicians now
    • EMR Required Training:
      • Module (learn lessons) - Must be completed prior to providers first day.
      • EMR Virtual training - Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. The provider must schedule virtual EMR training after modules are completed and before the providers' first day
    • Board Certified Neurological Surgery - Required or Truly BE (0-5 years of residency completion)
    • Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
    • Active ACLS, BLS - Required
    • Active DEA - Required (site will consider a transferred DEA, however, must keep this DEA for the duration of the assignment, not just for shifts worked.)
