School LPNnnLocation: School assignments determined during orientation. Must be comfortable working anywhere in DC.nnRequirements: At least 1 year of experience as an RN or LPN. Active DC RN or LPN license. Previous school nursing experience preferred or experience with pediatric population.nnAdditional Details: Nurses be assigned to a single school, or a cluster of schools within a small radius. Schedule is typically shared 2 weeks in advance.nnContract/Hours: Minimum of 13 weeks, Amergisum through the end of the school year. If an internal nurse is onboarded for a school where an agency nurse is, CSS can provide a 2 week notice for the nurse (possible school reassignment possible). Able to convert internally if preferred – temp to perm possible. M-F, 8a-4:30p.nnThe School Nurse assumesresponsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing processand the delivery of student/client care and/or contracted services in a schoolsetting. The School Nurse may also be in a supervisory position within the contractedservices.
