We care for a wide variety of patients with various medical and psychosocial needs, making this unit a great place to develop skills and grow your nursing practice. We are a Primary Stroke Center and specialize in providing care to stroke patients. Some of our commonly treated diagnoses include strokes/TIAs, brain and spinal injuries, post-neurological surgeries, drug and alcohol withdrawal, sepsis, and patients requiring telemetry monitoring.nnWhat we are known for: Our unit is known for its teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. We prioritize high quality; patient centered care and we accomplish this through strong teamwork. Our nursing staff works closely with hospitalists, neurologists, rehab therapists, and social workers to develop each patient’s individualized plan of care.
