Position Overview:

Seeking two Adult Psychiatrists. This opportunity is open to recent residency graduates and experienced professionals alike. The ideal candidates will be comfortable working with diverse, complex patient populations, including individuals with severe mental illness and substance abuse disorders. The position is on-site, and candidates should be proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient psychiatric care to adult patients with mental health and substance abuse disorders
• Diagnose, assess, and treat severe mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans and provide comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Electronic Health Records
• Work in a public/community mental health setting and provide care to a diverse patient population
• Ability to work on-site and be available for at least 32 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry (Required)
• Active California Medical License (Required)
• Clean malpractice history (Highly preferred)
