Qualifications:
- A medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution is required.
- Candidates must be board-certified/eligible in internal medicine or family medicine.
- The ability to handle complex medical and social scenarios is essential.
- A patient-centered, compassionate mindset is a must.
- An active medical license in Texas or eligibility to obtain one is required.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, comprehensive medical and post-operative patient care.
- Utilize Cerner EMR systems and Sound's internal informatics platform.
- Support the rapid response team and attend codes as a courtesy run by the ICU team.
- The hospital has a closed ICU, and our hospitalist team is not responsible for procedures.
