Seasonal 13 week RN position , working full time schedule / Night shift in the ACT / Progressive Care Unit at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, AZ 2 years minimum related PCU RN experience required What you'll do: The Registered Nurse participates in increased levels of care in a dynamic Acute Care / Progressive Care Unit setting that provides quality care to higher acuity patients. This increased surveillance 28 bed unit offers a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio while providing high quality care to our patients. Nurses can develop their skill set by providing for patients that include: post cardiac surgery and Cath Lab procedures, alcohol withdrawal, heart and respiratory failure, dysrhythmias, rattlesnake bites, hypo/hypertension, requiring medication drips, and many more.
