1. Order Description: Mayo Clinic in La Crosse WI is looking for locum gastroenterology coverage. Shift information: Minimum need: (1) 24/7 on-call week Friday 5P-Friday 5P prefer every 5th week, but can be flexible and work around provider s schedule OR 1-week/month of endoscopy procedures M-F 7:30A-4:30p (Example schedule: If you want to work 2 weeks in a row, the second week would be in Endoscopy).
2. Duration of Assignment: Currently 1 year.
3. EMR: Epic
4. On-Call required
5. Average # of patients per shift: Endoscopy 10-14, hospital varies
6. Patient Demographic: Adults & Geriatric
7. Team Structure: 4 MDs 5 APPs
8. Decision Makers: Operations Administrator, Operations Manager, Dept Chair
9. Travel/lodging is covered. $60 food per diem per day

Candidate Requirements:
a. WI state license.
b. What boards are accepted? Gastroenterology board certified
c. Life Certifications needed: ACLS, BLS
d. Epic experience and computer skills are essential.
e. Experience required, will accept new grads
