This role will be responsible for supporting our Information Technology team.nnRESPONSIBILITIES:nnPlace a high volume of purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory levels for Information Technology hardwarennEnsure supply continuity by executing a well-thought-out demand plan that optimizes working capitalnnExpand IT planning scope as needed, train stakeholders and set-up part numbersnnCoordinates with accounts payable and receiving to resolve invoice issues, and proactively addresses root cause of issues to avoid re-occurrencennChallenges internal stakeholders’ expedite requirements to control logistics costs and works directly with suppliers to improve logistics policy adherencennDevelop demand models specific to category/project strategiesnnEnsure data integrity and strategic alignment by working closely with suppliers, stakeholders, and procurement managersnnProvide regular updates to internal customers and team members on project status and lead meetings including suppliersnnProvide forecasts to suppliers and to purchasing team members as needed for RFPsnnBe the go-to contact for internal customers to resolve supply issues and address new demandnnAnalyze data derived from SQL to identify opportunitiesnnBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:nnBachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or other technical or business disciplinesnnPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:nnFamiliarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functionsnnDetail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and able to respond quickly to a fast-moving and ever-changing environmentnnAdvanced excel skillsnnExcellent customer service skills (courtesy, professionalism)nnEffective written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsnnCritical thinking skillsnnCoalition-building skills, including proven success working on cross-functional projectsnnExperience with IT hardware procurement or supply chainsnnADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:nnMust be able to travel - up to 10% work week travel may be requirednnMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestonesnnAbility to communicate outside of work hoursnnThis position is based in Hawthorne, CA and requires being onsite - hybrid and remote work not considerednnCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:nnPay Range:nnPurchasing Planner: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00/per yearnnYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.nnBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
