Candidates must possess an experience practicing pre-suit and litigation plaintiff personal injury in Texas. Candidates should have some litigation experience.
An ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent
communication abilities, the capacity to prioritize tasks and the ability to
manage an office. You will work alongside a dynamic and experienced team of
Attorneys and have local and remote support staff. A typical day involves
client communication, negotiating settlements, overseeing support staff and
files, taking depositions, research and drafting, leading mediations,
developing case strategies, drafting demands, and taking cases to trial.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with our clients to understand the extent
of their injuries, negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel, and
represent our clients in court. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases,
including auto accidents, slip and falls, premises liability claims, and
wrongful death cases. Drafting and responding to discovery, drafting motions
and motion responses, legal research, and legal writing. Work with experts from
various medical and other disciplines assist with report drafting, deposition
preparation, etc.
Qualifications:
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
Experience in Personal injury law. Experience
drafting and responding to motions. Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil
Procedure and Rules of Evidence. Exceptional attention to detail, strong
writing and legal research skills. Great attorney work ethic.
