DescriptionnnThe Weekend Warrior/Licensed Practical Nurse (Weekend Warrior/LPN) is solely a designated every weekend position. This position is responsible to provide daily nursing care, order medications, provide updates to the RN and Nurse Practitioners, train and orient AMAP’s, schedule appointments, participate in Agency activities and complete required documentation.nnJoin the Upstate Caring Partners Team as Licensed Practical Nurse!nnOpportunities available working with adult or youths.nnWeekend PositionnnPaid TrainingnnStarting pay $33/hour!nnSign-on Bonus - up to $3,000nnCore ResponsibilitiesnnPromote the individuals’ independence by implementing the Individual Program Plan.nnAttend to personal, self-care and other program participant needs.nnProvide support and consultation and initiate peer support among program participants.nnPromote program participant input in the development of program activities.nnOversee the safety and well being of the program participants.nnOversee and upkeep the maintenance of equipment and supplies.nnParticipate in activities as part of the treatment team.nnEnsure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards.nnQualificationsnnHS Diploma Required/AAS Degree preferred.nnValid NYS Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse and current NYS Registration Certificate.nnStrong interpersonal and communication skills.nnBasic Computer Skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel)nnTravel is required.
