Department: MedSurg | RN Unit: MedSurg - Floor 5 of Beds: 35 Nurse: Patient Ratios: generally 1:5; some populations 1:4. Job Requirements Must have 1 year experience. Must be able to read and interpret telemetry. Schedule Information Shifts: 7-7. Travelers will fill in where there is a need. Weekend Requirement: Will fill in if needed. Holiday Requirement: Will fill in if needed. Floating Requirements: Will float to like units (4,5,6,9) and to Meridian and Nampa Medical Center MedSurg floors. Unit Specific Information 1 day of unit orientation. Additional Details Common diagnoses: Ortho surgeries, ENT surgeries, pediatric overflow patients, general MedSurg. Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must be willing to learn and ask questions. Shift information includes a charge nurse present who does not take patients.
