This may include pushing and/or wheeling a pill cart on facility campus.nnControl medication, syringes and other medical supplies or equipment as required.nnPerform emergency procedures as needed and call the physician for treatment orders.nnMaintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records. Observe applicable HIPAA rules.nnClosely monitor all potential catastrophic illnesses.nnComply with all applicable pharmacy laws, especially those covering controlled substances.nnPerform work on an on-call basis, as required.nnPrepare and maintain narrative, statistical, summary and operational records, reports, and logs.nnConduct chart review; review status of detainees with serious health problems for completion of all necessary intervention and treatment.nnPerform rescue functions for accidents, emergencies and disasters to include administering basic emergency medical aid, physically removing people away from dangerous situations, and securing and evacuating people from confined areas.nnQualifications: Degree in nursing, current, valid nursing license for the state of Florida. One (1) year of experience preferred to include EKG, phlebotomy, injections, IV, casting, wound care. Must possess current CPR certification.
