Start your career today and find out where you fit into the global food supply chain and the mission to feed the world.nnResponsibilities:nnWill provide support to the HR departmentnnLearn all departments of Human Resources including: Hiring, On-Boarding, Orientation, EEOC, Recruitment, Community Relations, Investigations, Training & Development, Technical Training, Talent Development, Payroll, Policy Enforcement, etc.nnBrainstorm ideas to improve programs which could potentially focus on recruitment, retention, recognition, policy enforcement, etc.nnLearn/observe the relationship and dynamics with the Local UnionnnPotentially shadow investigations which could result in discipline and/or terminationnnUnderstand the basics of absenteeism and turnover metrics:nnHow they are measured and why they are of importancennUnderstanding Staffing and Crewing, including Available to StandardnnWork with Operations to ensure policies are being adhered tonnGain valuable insight on how the entire operations is impacted by each othernnAssist in coordinating and implementing engagement surveys with the workforce and co-workers of the facility (Glint)nnBe exposed to Performance Management, including: evaluations, promotions, merit, etc.nnComplete and present a project related to issues within the HR departmentnnWhat to expect:nnA chance to connect with and learn from our company’s executive leadership team throughout the course of your internship programnnExposure to multiple areas of the business to give you a well-rounded understanding of the overall production processnnA mentor who’s invested in your success, and will provide feedback and coachingnnThe chance to prove yourself in a highly rewarding industrynnA multicultural work environment that stands on its values and puts its people firstnnThe opportunity to develop your technical and business knowledge alongside industry expertsnnRegular leadership training sessions with our world-class leadership development instructorsnnProjects driven by business objectives with real-world implicationsnnPotential for accelerated growth within our company by providing early access to career development programsnnQualifications:nnEnrolled in four year university or pursuing a Bachelor's DegreennMinimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or highernnThe applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation:nn$21/hour with $2,500 relocation stipend if applicable.nnThe Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors.
