Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year as an RN with relevant recent experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Stepdown Nurse (RN), you will provide critical care in transitional units, catering to patients who require more attention than those on the med-surg floor, yet are not in need of intensive care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and monitoring patient's progress, identifying sudden or subtle changes in their medical condition.
• Calculating drug dosages, titrating medication doses, administering continuous medication infusions, and monitoring patients for medication effects.
• Collaborating closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Hours Worked: 36 hours per week
