This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Driver Dispatcher will also oversee day-to-day planning operations and ensure compliance with all transportation regulations.nnKEY RESPONSIBILITIESnnDevelop, administer, coordinate and manage the delivery schedule for our dedicated fleet of trucks.nnSchedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.nnMonitor driver locations and status using GPS tracking systemsnnCommunicate with drivers to provide updates, instructions, and supportnnMaintain accurate records of driver activities, including hours of service, mileage, and delivery detailsnnAddress and resolve any issues or delays that arise during deliveriesnnCollaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfactionnnEnsure consistent application and compliance with DOT regulations, including maintaining driver’s hoursnnFacilitate the customer’s delivery objectives in a timely and effective manner through constant and direct communication with drivers, load planners, and other departmentsnnDevelop and retain strong working relationships with our dedicated partnersnnOther duties as assignednnOne or more years in a transportation or truck dispatching environment focusing on customer service
