SCHEDULE:
Dates: May 23rd, 2024 for 3 months with extension possible
Shift Details: Clinic: Tues, Thurs, Friday; 8a-5p
Call: Mon, Wednesday. 7a-3p. (Rounding, writing notes, and discharging.)
Weekends: 7a- 12p.
Can be flexible on hours.
DESCRIPTION:
• Patients per day: 25+
• All ages ranging from 18 to geriatric. Insured, noninsured, and private pay.
• Ambulatory Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery Center and Hospital
• EMR: Cerner
• Special procedures: Pulling chest tube, part flushes, S-P drain removal, anticoagulant bridging for perioperative. Staple/Suture removal, general knowledge, chest tube management.
• Skills Required: Respiratory, GI assessments, gen knowledge, PET, CT X-rays, managing chest tubes including pulling; spirometry, multitasking.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Active WV license
• Active DEA
• Certifications BLS
• Minimum 1 years of Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery experience as a PA
