Qualifications:
- 2+ years of paralegal experience either in house or law firm setting preferred
- Healthcare licensing experience a plus
- Paralegal certificate a plus
- Must possess an AA degree or higher
- Must have superior computer skills and be very comfortable with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness and ability to learn and understand complex issues and to follow directions
- Demonstrate a high level of judgment, maturity and discretion in handling confidential matters; exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
Key Duties Include: - Compile, analyze, interpret, and communicate licensing requirements as relevant to emerging or ongoing business activities.
- Research and assist in the development & implementation of regulatory policies & procedures to ensure that all required licenses are identified, applied for, renewed, and properly monitored.
- Coordinate & ensure timely & thorough completion of all required licensure and certification applications & renewals.
- Contact licensing and certification agencies, internal & external personnel, and any/all other parties necessary to complete licensing applications & renewals in accordance with licensing agency requirements.
- Document licensing/certification updates; report status updates to management; provide recommendations to resolve or correct any issues identified by the licensing/renewal process.
- Work closely with management to ensure that emerging business activities meet all relevant licensing and regulatory requirements.

Salary: $26.44- $33.65/hour DOE; may be bonus eligible.
Additional Information: This full-time, non-exempt position will be based at the Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, California.
