Description TITLE: LPN Supervisor REPORTS TO: Director of Nursing Non-Exempt PURPOSE OF POSITION: The primary purpose of the position is to direct and supervise resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility and as may be required by the Director of Nursing to ensure that the highest quality of care is maintained at all times.
ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensure that a sufficient number of LPN's and CNA's are available to ensure that quality care is maintained at all times.
- Make rounds to ensure that all nursing personnel assigned to you are providing quality care in accordance with standards of practice and within the written policies and procedures established by this facility.
- Handle complaints as they arise and report problems to the Director of Nursing.
- Complete nursing documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility policy.
- Notify physician and family of any resident changes (e.g., incidents, skin breakdown, etc.) and complete documentation of the notification in a timely manner.
- Admit, transfer, and discharge residents with completion of necessary paperwork.
- Follow all physician orders for resident care.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: - Must possess a current, unencumbered, active Georgia LPN license.
- Must have experience as a supervisor in a healthcare facility.
