RESPONSIBLE FOR CARDIAC MONITORING, CARDIAC DRIPS & READING TELE STRIPS – 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED Unit Name: Float Pool RN (must be willing to Float between 8 different units). Brief Unit Description: Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg Tele areas. Experience Required: Two years of acute care hospital experience. Skill Sets Required: Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. TR Band experience. Must be able to perform Cardiac Drips and Reading Tele Strips. Clinician to Patient Ratio: Days & Eves up to 5:1. Nights up to 6:1. Patient Population: Care for ED border patients; medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU. Bed Count: 371. Census: Units range from 8 to 41 beds. EMR (Charting System): EPIC, Omnicell, Kronos. Job Requirements Certifications Required: Active Massachusetts RN License. BLS.
