Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Job Details Ratios 1:5 Float: Med/surg Service line Every other weekend 50% of holidays on contract 1 year exp required Must have travel exp The adult overflow unit is a 10 bed unit that services all UH admitting physician teams including Neurology, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Oncology. Diagnoses range from diabetes, CHF, COPD, Renal disease, orthopedic fractures, and neurological deficits. This unit will occupy adult 16 and older medical surgical patients to assist with hospital throughput. General floor care procedures and skills such as IV therapy, labs, nasogastric tubes, wound care assisting physicians with bedside procedures and conscious sedation.
