What you need:

1. Current and Valid PA Licensure as a Practical Nurse
2. Successful completion of the PA Department of Human Services (DHS) Direct Care Staff Person Training Course/Test.
3. Twenty-One years of age or older
4. Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification or willingness to be trained by Luthercare during

employment.
What you do:

1. Ensure the safety and proper care of resident's personal property as defined by the organization's guidelines and standards. Addresses possible concerns and issues with supervisor as appropriate.
2. Assists in the Observe residents and report changes in resident condition or symptoms of illness to medical provider and/or PC Manager, as necessary. Obtain and monitor vital signs and assist with emergency situations and ambulation. Encourage residents to remain active and attend social functions and programs. Assist with the development and carry-out of activities and programs on a routine basis under the leadership of the activity staff.
3. Provide functional supervision to personal care staff. Assist Manager with training and in-service Programs.
