Job Description
UB Greensfelder has an opening for a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join the Human Resources Department in the St. Louis office. This position will work closely with other members of the department across multiple HR functions. This is an in-office position that is eligible for occasional remote work after an initial onboarding period. Position Responsibilities Include: Posting and maintaining job advertisements, importing resumes into the applicant tracking system, screening applications, sourcing active and passive candidates, and coordinating interview schedules for all posted positions. Completing reference, background checks, and degree verifications for candidates. Assisting HR Manager with preparation of materials for new hire orientation. Assisting with the open enrollment process and pulling employee demographics as needed. Providing reconciliation reports to the Benefits & Payroll Manager. Assisting with preparation of local office events (health screenings, flu shots, United Way Campaign, etc.). Maintaining the firm tax gift list for annual reporting purposes. Obtaining and analyzing statistical data for various reporting requests. Editing and maintaining all HR materials including benefit summaries, brochures, and firm intranet pages, as directed. Assisting the Benefits & Payroll Manager with payroll functions as needed. Assisting with other Human Resources projects throughout the year as assigned. Qualified Applicants Will Have: At least 3 years of administrative experience working in a professional services environment, required. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality. Ability to balance multiple competing priorities in a sometimes fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Advanced computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite and PDF program (Adobe/Kofax) required. Basic knowledge of HRIS systems preferred but not required. Knowledge of Human Resources principles and concepts, modern office practices related to time management, business correspondence, record keeping, and file management. Proactive problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
