Your Job Georgia-Pacific LLC has an exciting opportunity for a coordinator for Mechanical Integrity (Fixed Equipment) and Pressure Relief Device (PRD) programs to enhance the maintenance and operations at our Big Island, Virginia facility. The candidate will be responsible for administering the Mechanical Integrity (Fixed Equipment) and Pressure Relief Device (PRD) programs to ensure that the facility complies with all company requirements and recommendations; regulatory requirements; and relevant codes, standards, guidelines and Recognized and Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP) from industrial and professional organizations. Our Team This role reports to the Reliability Leader, providing for collaboration and inspections across the departments within the mill. Additionally, will work closely with corporate and peer subject matter experts (SME's) for current and best practices. What You Will Do Lead the mechanical integrity and pressure relief device program to ensure compliance with inspections and recommended repairs related to tanks, piping systems, pressure vessels, and pressure relief devices. Manage inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance (ITPM) plans for fixed equipment, including planning, scheduling, and technical aspects. Develop detailed work packages for routine and outage tasks involving fixed equipment and pressure relief devices, specifying inspection methods, damage mechanisms, acceptance criteria, and providing cost and time estimates, access requirements (scaffold, manlift, etc.), cleaning, maintenance, and QA/QC needs. Manage effective outage and contractor coordination planning for all inspections within the maintenance and reliability work process. Maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, reports, and recommendations for all fixed equipment to enable consistent mechanical integrity and pressure relief devices. Provide technical content and recommendations supporting mill departments, including troubleshooting, problem-solving, cost estimates, and recommended solutions. Actively engage in site Chemical Process Safety (CPS) and Process Safety Management (PSM) specific to Inspection Testing and Preventive Maintenance (ITPM) plan development (new systems) and review (existing systems) focusing on all fixed equipment. Actively participate in the Design for Reliability (DFR - new equipment) and Asset Improvement Strategies (ASI - existing equipment) for accurate maintainability of fixed equipment and pressure relief devices. Work with other Georgia Pacific subject matter experts (SME) to share knowledge. Utilize appropriate strategies to improve equipment or operational strategies. Use GP reliability network to keep current with the latest technology, tools, and best practices. Responsible for the inspection, preventive maintenance and repair of mill roofs. Management of roofing contractors, from selection, work scope, job performance, job completion evaluation, accruals and invoicing processing. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) 5 years of experience in managing and executing a mechanical integrity (fixed equipment) program and pressure relief device programs or equivalent. Maintenance and/or reliability experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices (RAGAGEP). Working knowledge of in-service inspection/repair codes and standards. Working knowledge of Process Safety Management and/ or Chemical Process Safety requirements. Familiarity with repair methods associated with fixed equipment. Program audit and assessment experience for continuous improvement for the programs. What Will Put You Ahead Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Certified Authorized Inspector (NBIC). Certified Inspector for pressure vessels under API 510, tank inspections under API 653, and piping inspections under API 570. Certified Welding Inspector or API 577 certification. Familiarity with asset health databases or other inspection data management systems. Knowledge of failure modes and damage mechanisms common to the Pulp and Paper industry.
